Time to start over...

So it looks like I'll be rebuilding the entire level. Not to worry, this time it will go much much faster.

Here is the model with detail now.



This is Vypac's version with a fraction of the detail



I will not just take what he did and call it my own, so I will rebuild it myself. I kind of had the same idea in mind earlier today before I got his email with critique, I just wasn't sure how to approach it but ya...must model model mode.

Tuffy Designs Set 3

Last set :3 ! Here's natural science/math and humanities/social sciences. Like I've stated before, basically what I've tried to do is take the concept and translate them into a matching style. Please let me know what you think.

Also sorry about the poor quality of the last two sets, I'm not sure whats up with my scanner ^_^; .

And here's Tuffy set number 2 :) . These are the depts of computer science/engineering, communication, and education respectively. I'm not sure why this scan didn't go through as well, if you have trouble seeing it let me know and i'll rescan it.

Tuffy Designs Set 1



Here's some rough character designs for the Tuffys. These ones are health/fitness dept, business/economic dept, and the art dept. Basically what I tried to do was take the original designs and mod them to fit the overall style of the game. Please let me know what you think, more will be coming soon ^_^ .

Oh and I know I didn't have to draw the legs, I just did them because the Tuffys looked weird floating there without them ^ ^; .

Ok so this was a idea i had if we didn't feel like making unique cars for each racer we could just use one model and paint them all differently. Also look at this like a sketch because i just started modeling with no plan :p

Plant Preview

Heres a preview of the plants for the level, I'm experimenting with trying to create them out of single planes to save polys. As you can probably tell I'm trying to go for a more cartoony look to match the Tuffys ^_^ .

Currently theres no bounding boxes so you can still go through walls, but its a good way of seeing what the level will look like in game :3 .

Lobby Level

*UPDATE* The level of detail on the TSU building has been bugging me since Thursday, but I've managed to cut down the number of polys from 7737 to 4557 and I've also added a roof over the lobby. Will update more soon.


So I've been extremely lazy these past few weeks but I've finally gotten off my butt today and started modeling. Here is what I have of the Lobby floor. I still need to add the roof. Oh, I also added a box for size reference. Um so ya, if you guys have any suggestions let me know. Oh, and if you want the maya file, just email me.
